Happy Halloween!!

Today is Halloween. Mom and I just hung around the house all day because I have a bit of a runny nose and I was grumpy because my other front tooth is just coming through....

Then later, we went to the Zoo Boo! I was pretty skeptical, but played along, as I do like my baby sled. 

You can't really tell, but I'm dressed as a dog. Mom bought the costume about a month ago, and I'm wearing it over my snowsuit, so it is a little tight. The hood would not go over the hood of my snowsuit... but, I'm cute anyway!

My goodie bag was all full... I still wasn't too sure of what to think. 

When we got home, I enjoyed pulling all the candy bars out of the candy dish and putting them back in.

SNOW!

It snowed last night. Not very much... about an inch, but it was enough for me to go play outside! Mom got me all bundled up and pulled me around the yard in my baby sled. It was great. Dad pulled me super fast and I loved that! The dogs got involved and were chasing me too. It was great family fun.

Party Time

Saturday was my birthday party. I had SO much fun! Mom did a great job decorating the house and making lots of yummy food. I got to play with a lot of people and I got a lot of new toys!

This is a shot of what the house looked like from the door. Mom made the flags out of fabric, the paw prints on the walls, and the sign behind my high chair.

There was an 8x10 picture from every month hanging down the hallway so people could see how different I look now that I am a little boy!

All the food! There were cake pops (Mom wouldn't let me have those...), bread sticks shaped like dog bones (my favorite), dog bone shaped cookies, onion dip, taco dip, and pretzels. Dad also grilled hot dogs and sausages. I did not like hot dogs at all!

Grandma and Grandpa Henderson got me this awesome alligator walker. I LOVE it! I am also now taking 5-6 steps all on my own...

Uncle Jeff sent me this leap frog toy named "Scout" and mom asked me to give him a hug.

I had a lot of fun at my party and can't wait to see everyone again! Mom said I have to help her write thank you cards this week for all of the cool stuff I got. I hope everyone had as much fun this weekend as I did!

Carving Pumpkins

Last Halloween, I was too little to carve pumpkins... being only 11 days old, you can't expect too much! But this year, I was ready to help.  Dad thought I would like to help pull the guts out... BOY was he wrong! I touched them and almost threw up! Then a little later I would touch them in the bowl to make sure they were still gross, and yup... they were... almost threw up again. But, I still had fun!

Birthday!

The 20th was my very first birthday... here is a photo recap of my day....

I started the day with eggs for breakfast. I even used a fork for about 2 bites.

I also had a great party yesterday. Mom said she would let me tell you about that later. I have had a great first year and I can't wait to continue learning and growing. 

Lasagna

I have always been a big fan of pasta, but tonight Mom made a spinach lasagna that I thought was amazing! (She wanted me to let you know the recipe is here if you wanted to make it. It is easy enough to make that she was able to make it while I was crawling around the kitchen and hanging on her legs. She even made homemade marinara sauce.... YUM!)

Splish, Splash

I love taking baths! I have been taking baths in the tub for a while now, and I love it! I love water, splashing, and everything about bath time! Yesterday Dad even gave me a bubble bath... it blew my mind....

Reindeer Farm!

Mom and Dad took me to the Reindeer Farm out in Palmer today for their Fall Festival. Despite still getting over a cold, I had a great time. I really enjoy looking at animals. Mom mentioned we might go back around Christmas and that I might even be able to feed the reindeer myself! I can not wait for that. Enjoy some of the pictures we took....

Morning Hair

I almost always have CRAZY hair when I wake up... mom captured some fun pictures of my hair after morning nap this morning. I was in a good mood because despite not wanting to take a nap, I took a good nap and felt very well rested when I woke up.
