Like a weed

Mom was eating lunch with me the other day and realized that she could see me over the table! And I was sitting on my butt. I have been growing taller every day... must be all the sunshine.

Now, Mom, enough games, it is time for lunch...

Ok, one more fun face!

Essential Alaskan

Every Alaskan needs a pair of Carharts, and I am no exception. I have been wearing them quite a bit lately as they are perfect for playing in the yard and staying nice and warm...

My backyard

A week ago my backyard looked like this:

Still covered in snow. I had to wear my boots and mittens (and sport mom's handwoven scarf...) to be allowed outside. But, we have had some gorgeous weather and today my backyard looked like this:

There is virtually no snow left in the yard, and Dad raked most of it yesterday. I was able to go outside and play before nap time today because it was so warm! I still like to wear my hat, but I can now go without mittens and just with shoes on!

Busy digging in the wood pile...

And wearing Dad's gloves! I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Chopping Wood

Dad and I were outside doing chores this weekend... I love being outside and helping Dad. This isn't the best picture (he took it with his phone) but here I am practicing my wood chopping skills. Clearly, having your eyes closed is very helpful.  And if you were curious, Mom did make my sweater. It is out of yarn she spun on her wheel.

My little backpack

My dad bought me a cool new backpack recently. I really like wearing it around the house for about five mins... then I want it OFF! Mom said when the snow melts I can use it to carry my snacks to the park...

Easter Round up!

We had a very exciting weekend here! Saturday, Grandma Connie came in and we went to an egg hunt. There were a ton of kids and by the time I got to the field with the eggs, they were all gone. But, we did find a couple to throw around, and I had a great time playing in the fresh snow!! (Did you hear this is now the snowiest winter in Anchorage?!)

Then on Sunday, I got some Easter goodies and later went to Grandma Henderson's house for dinner and to celebrate Uncle Sam's birthday. It was a lot of fun! I hope everyone else had a great holiday weekend.

Blueberries!

So Dad was out of town for a week and took the computer with him so I couldn't write anything... then Mom and I were super busy this past week getting things ready for Easter.

Anyway, I have been loving blueberries lately... and posing for the camera!
