Helping Out

So Mom is pretty busy with Lucy... I've decided that I need to start helping her out with things she would normally do for me. Like butter my bread....

So, my sister Lucy is quite the little baby. All she does is sleep and fuss when she gets changed... which, I don't blame her on that one, being changed stinks. Overall, I think she is pretty boring. But, I did pose for some pictures with her...

I'm a Cowboy!

So, this baby sister of mine is still hanging around. I was thinking she was just a visitor, but it looks like she might be here to stay... one fun thing is I have been getting to spend a lot of time with Grandma and Grandpa Henderson and Aunt Allie.

Dad bought me some new cowboy guns the other day, so I have been running around the house practicing my sweet cowboy moves...

The hat clearly didn't last long...

Big Brother!

Mom had my little baby sister yesterday! I was pretty excited to meet her... more later as we are all busy snuggling on the couch...

Gardening

Mom and I had to do a bit of gardening today.  We have this plant in the house (a poinsettia) that Mom and Dad have had for longer than I've been alive and we bought a new pot for it. I was able to help put some dirt in the pot.... then I decided to do some other gardening for her as well.  Mom's lap keeps getting smaller and she says very soon there will be a baby. I do look forward to being able to sit on her lap again... but I hear that baby might be doing that a lot too....

Oh, and I guess I should mention we have power again! We were without power until Saturday night, so four days... whew! I'm very happy to turn on the lights again.

Unplugged

No pictures today, as we haven't had power since Tuesday night. Every morning, Mom gives me two glow sticks so I can see when I walk through the house. I'm pretty grumpy that I can't turn on the lights or watch any cartoons.... Hopefully soon, as I think we are running out of glow sticks...

Fair time!

On Friday Mom, Grandma, and Grandpa Henderson took me to the state fair! It was so much fun. Grandpa carried me in my backpack for most of it... we went and saw a dog show, and I loved seeing the dogs catch the frisbees. I tried to get our dogs to do that by throwing a frisbee at their mouth, but so far that hasn't worked out.  We also saw a lot of farm animals and some crazy rides with lots of lights. Mom said that maybe next year I would be big enough for the rides... Of course, everyone forgot their cameras, but you will have to trust that I had fun!

Mom said very soon there is going to be a baby in the house... still undecided on how I feel about that.
