Weekend!

We had quite a fun weekend. On Saturday, we drove out to Wasilla to get me some new cloth diapers. I did not really enjoy riding in the car, and SCREAMED for a while when we first started and right before we got there. Not sure why I don't enjoy the car, but I do NOT. Getting new diapers has been fun, but mom is trying to figure out the fit, so I have been needing a lot of clothing changes. I'm hoping we figure the diapers out soon, as getting my clothes changes so many times isn't too fun.

After going to the diaper store we went to a shooting range. Mom and I hung out in the lodge (which was super nice! Leather furniture and lots of ladies to fawn over me!) while dad shot some skeet. Then another long car ride home and more screaming...

On Sunday Grandma Brenda came over and played with me for a while before I went down for my afternoon nap. That was fun. I talked to her a lot and told her all about how mom and dad make me ride in the car for long periods of time and how much I hate it.

I hope everyone had as much fun this weekend as I did!

Monsters!

Mom made Dad a monster last night! Here I am with my monster and dad's monster. They both need names.

Also, Grandma Connie put one of my favorite toys (Crazy Bird) in my crib the other day. Now every morning I play with Crazy Bird for a while before I get up for breakfast. He makes crazy noises when I grab him. Mom tells me that real birds aren't this fun and I shouldn't try to grab them....

Grandpa Craig

He came to visit me last week, and we matched! He helped get my cowboy hat to fit me better so I can wear it on my trip to Texas... I hear everyone wears them down there. Plus, with my hair falling out, I need to start wearing more hats!

Monster!!

Mommy made me this monster over the weekend. I helped pick the fabric from her stash (it was almost too hard to choose... so many choices!) and I love it. My monster does need a name though.... so if you think of one, let me know. :)

The pattern is from Danger Crafts. Mommy has also bought the book of knitted monsters to knit me some more friends!

Catching up...

Mom decided I needed a blog... so, let's catch up on my life. I was born on October 20th... here is my first picture at home. Man, mom looks beat...

And yes, she knit that little outfit for me. It kept me warm in the cold, Alaskan winter.

Day two. I'm pretty cute.

Here I am hanging out with Dad. He's pretty awesome.

I spent a lot of my first days sleeping...

But I was still able to cause some trouble... here, I have wiggled my little baby foot out of my sleeper.

I had to go to the doctor, everything was fine. Mom's friend Jess made this hat for me.

I passed a hearing test. Mom knit this sweater for me, but it was too big before she put me in it... so this was the only time I left the house in it.

I learned to make funny faces...

This one was Mom's favorite.

My love affair with knitting and fiber started early. I can't wait to wear this vest that Mom's friend Carrie sent for me.

Mom said she is going to make this fluff into yarn and make me something. I'll keep you posted on that.

For Halloween, I was a pumpkin.

Then Thanksgiving came. After this picture, I spit up on my grandpa's poker table. Oops.

I learned to smile!

Up close with Smiling Sawyer!

Christmas came, and my Aunt Allie bought me a lot of new clothes!

I dressed up for all of the parties Mom and Dad took me to.

Mom and Dad dressed me as a cowboy.

I didn't care for that.

Mom and I on New Year's Eve. I was "charging in the new year" with my rhino outfit. Mom really likes word play.

I am starting to enjoy tummy time.

And I've got some big muscles!

Whew!! That is a lot of living for three months. I will be updating more often now that you are all caught up on the happenings of me. Enjoy the rest of your week!
