Everybody Jump!!

It may not look like it in this picture, but my new jumper toy is awesome.  (Well, it's actually called a baby exerciser... it's pretty cool to have my own baby gym at home.) I get to hang out and watch mom sew and jump around in circles. I love it.

Boats and planes, but no trains....

I am home safe. I have just been very busy with being a baby. I did well on my little mini vacation.  We wound up getting weathered into Juneau, so we stayed there Saturday night. It was very windy and snowy! I was lucky I had my bear suit to keep me nice and warm while we walked to and from dinner. The next day we took the ferry to Hoonah and stayed the night there. Monday we took the ferry back to Juneau, stayed the night, and then flew home on Tuesday! I am now quite the seasoned little traveler!

Don't know when I'll be back again.... just joking, I'll be back on Tuesday. Mom, Dad, and I are taking a mini vacation to Hoonah, Alaska. We will be flying into our capital city of Juneau and then taking a small plane to Hoonah. We will be leaving Saturday morning... Mom and Dad are really excited. I don't really know what to expect. Not sure what a plane is, or where Hoonah is, but I guess if Mom and Dad are going, it can't be too bad.

We are going with James and Branda to visit Branda's parents. It should be a fun time. I will take lots of pictures and hopefully will do well on the plane. It is a short flight, so I guess if I hate it, at least it isn't too long....

Jumper-rama!

I think I mentioned that mom got me a new jumper toy. I can't quite reach the bottom, but I have a lot of fun trying! And it is great to just sit in and look around at everyone else in the house. I really like to watch mom and dad cook in the kitchen. Soon I will be jumping like crazy!

Hand, Hand, Finger, Thumb

I have become quite interested in my hands lately. I can reach out and grab things (like mom's hair... I like to hold onto that SUPER tightly) and just watch them as I move them around. They are quite fascinating.  Mom says there is a book about hands that she wants to get for me. (Hence the title of this blog post) Apparently it has monkeys in it and she remembers reading it as a kid.... maybe we will go to Title Wave this weekend and try to find it!

Attitude

I have had quite the attitude lately.  Luckily, it's a fun loving attitude, but here are some funny pictures mom has captured over the past week. Watch out, one of them is not appropriate for young people... myself included...

Superbowl Party!

I forgot to mention that I went to my first superbowl party this past Sunday. It was quite the event! Lots of people to hang out with... there was a lot of loud cheering going on, and I wasn't so sure about that, but overall I had a good time! I wore my football outfit, and at one point I was soooo tired that I passed out on mom's shoulder.

February!

Did you know that it is already February? Crazy. Mom and Grandma Brenda picked out these outfits for me for my first Valentine's Day. I've been sporting them, and I must say I look good. I'm sure to have many valentines this year....
