I'm Back!!

I know what everyone was thinking.... "Wow, Sawyer, for the first part of November, you were really rocking your blog...." Well, then life happened. I was sick, mom was busy, and then mom got sick. So, the house has been a bit crazy. But, it seems life has settled back down... just in time for the weather to go crazy! It has been windy and cold today! So much so that for the few seconds I wasn't in the house I didn't even try to take my hat off.  Mom has been trying to take pictures of the fun things I've been up to, but I love the camera and really want to play with it.... which has resulted in a lot more pictures that look like this....

I have learned to climb up on the couch by myself, which terrifies mom. I have also started taking a few more steps here and there. I know how to walk, but crawling is so much quicker and I like to do things quickly! Here is one nice picture I let mom take.... I'll try to check in more frequently. Stay warm.

Hats

Mom knows I hate hats. But, she continues to knit them for me. I like to fake her out sometimes and ask to have a hat put on, only to rip it off seconds later....

Reading

I love books. I often spend a good portion of my day having books read to me by mom or dad or reading to myself. Here are a few pictures of me reading to myself the other morning before getting dressed.

Helping Mom

I have been very helpful lately. Just the other day I helped mom wash my diapers by taking the clean ones out of the washer and putting them into the dryer. One at a time. It took me a while, but I finished! And, I had just gotten out of the bath, so I was running around with no britches on....

Stylin'

I have been learning to do a lot of things on my own recently, one of which is combing my hair. Every morning Dad styles my hair with the comb while he is in the shower. Sometimes I find the comb later in the day and decide to style my hair again on my own. I'm pretty good at it.  Mom even lets me practice combing her hair.

Happy Halloween!!

Today is Halloween. Mom and I just hung around the house all day because I have a bit of a runny nose and I was grumpy because my other front tooth is just coming through....

Then later, we went to the Zoo Boo! I was pretty skeptical, but played along, as I do like my baby sled. 

You can't really tell, but I'm dressed as a dog. Mom bought the costume about a month ago, and I'm wearing it over my snowsuit, so it is a little tight. The hood would not go over the hood of my snowsuit... but, I'm cute anyway!

My goodie bag was all full... I still wasn't too sure of what to think. 

When we got home, I enjoyed pulling all the candy bars out of the candy dish and putting them back in.

SNOW!

It snowed last night. Not very much... about an inch, but it was enough for me to go play outside! Mom got me all bundled up and pulled me around the yard in my baby sled. It was great. Dad pulled me super fast and I loved that! The dogs got involved and were chasing me too. It was great family fun.
